Training for Organizational Change

Organizations are constantly evolving. New technologies, business systems, manufacturing processes, regulatory requirements, and organizational priorities all require employees to learn new ways of working. While the technology itself may be ready to launch, successful implementation depends on people understanding how their work is changing and having the knowledge and confidence to perform in the new environment.

Pinyon Learning develops practical training solutions that support operational and technology transitions. Whether implementing a new software platform, introducing updated workflows, or standardizing processes across multiple teams or locations, we create learning resources that help employees understand not only what is changing, but why it matters and how it affects their day-to-day responsibilities.

Services may include:

  • Role-based training programs

  • Instructor-led and e-learning development

  • Job aids and performance support tools

  • Process and workflow documentation

  • Communication and adoption resources

  • Learning plans that support phased implementations

Our focus is on helping organizations reduce disruption, accelerate adoption, and give employees the tools they need to perform confidently as change becomes part of everyday operations.

Enterprise Systems Adoption

Challenge:
Gap Inc. was standardizing digital content production across its four retail brands—Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, and Athleta—by replacing multiple legacy publishing workflows with a single headless CMS platform. The transition required hundreds of users to adopt new tools, standardized processes, and new ways of managing website content while maintaining the speed and accuracy required for ongoing merchandising, promotions, and product launches.

Approach:
Partnered with the Director leading the enterprise transformation to design and develop role-based training that supported the transition from four independent production methods to a unified publishing workflow. Developed learning resources, documentation, and performance support materials that helped teams understand new processes, responsibilities, and system functionality throughout the implementation.

Outcome:
Supported a successful enterprise-wide transition to a standardized content management process across four major retail brands. The training program helped employees adopt new workflows more efficiently, reduced uncertainty during the rollout, and provided consistent learning resources that supported long-term operational success.
